The construction of the hospital took place in May 2009, with the efforts of sixty people from Raleigh Singapore, built in two fifteen day phases, each with thirty volunteers. 

The fifteen bed, multi-facility hospital with be staffed by two full-time doctors, along with a team of nurses and will include the following services:

  • Laboratory facilities
  • Centre for Sickle Cell Anaemia
  • Counseling centre
  • 24r-hour Pharmacy
  • Pregnancy Ward
  • Eye Care Centre
  • Ambulance Facility

 The hospital facilities will be available to both tribal and non-tribal people from the local community, and will provide much needed local medical care.
